In the case in which excess water load occurs at sewage facilities during rainy weather, a conventional oil fence is not able to withstand the 1m/sec high flow speed discharged from the pump station and is damaged. However, the high flow-rate type is made up of various constructs to preserve form such as balance buoys, making it a highly durable oil fence.
Implementation as an Oil Ball Measure
Oil and floating matter leak prevention realized at high flow speeds (1m/sec) existing oil fences could not support!
A stainless steel bar is inclined and fixed against the wall upon which a low friction slide ring is mounted to give “a single point mooring method” through a structure that moves easily with the water level.

Curtain Section
The shape is preserved by a chain running around the edge and anchored at the bottom, and shock relief is provided by tyre shock absorbers. Possesses the flexibility to return to its original shape after being put under pressure by a current.
Coupling/Anchorage Section
The cylinder guide for oil fences installed in sewage drainage floodways is fixed and submerged such that overflowing, curtain winding and other phenomena occur under the high flow speeds produced by sudden pump drainage during rainfall. The support buoy constantly lifts the High Flow-Rate Rapid Response Oil Fence to match the water level through a single point mooring method and so the varied problems of overspill from the top of the fence, curtain winding, stranding, and joint troubles with the breakwater are resolved.
