Turbid Water Treatment
This is a turbid water treatment system that works naturally. Aimed at sedimentation basins that make use of the length of a constructed waterway, it incorporates diverse components from river purification. Treatment is graded, combining the flocculation method, natural gravel contact materials and adhesion-type flow inclined flaps etc. to purify varying turbidities at a fixed dosage quantity. This makes it a low-energy, low running-cost turbid water treatment method for which specialist operators are unnecessary. It is installed in local waterways, facilitating high throughput turbid water treatment.
High-Throughput Channel Sedimentation Basin Treatment by Fixed Dosage
High density flocculation performed at a fixed dosage irrespective of changes in raw water turbidity
Cores and Stagnation Pockets imitating the meandering section of a river
A large number of compartments (cores) and resistive elements (stagnation pockets) are deployed on the channel bed, forming a stagnation zone that accumulates sediments similar to that of the meandering section of a natural river. Active flocks become a particle slurry, come into contact with suspended matter whilst causing convection, repeatedly precipitate, and are collected and stored.

Oyster shell gravel contact purification material CELCA
Adhesion flow inclined flap PATORESIA
PATORESIA section the flow in the final sedimentation basin through which the channel passes, aiming for a uniform rectification and promoting hindered settling. The water plant shaped curtains have an adhesive effect on microparticles.

PATORESIA
Active flocks formed in a high density flocculation tank become multi-particle groups and precipitate whilst removing microscopic suspended matter. This precipitate recontacts with the turbid water and promotes precipitate effects. This is a low-energy flocculation method that fully reacts highly safe inorganic flocculent N/T blocks and reduces dosage quantities to a minimum.
・MLIT NETIS registered technology KT-070068
・Patent application submitted,patent partly acquired
This is a patented product made from sun drying oyster shells over many years and then chemically firing them. The multi-surface, slight alkali elution, neutralising and antibacterial actions work effectively to bring about clarification. This is a natural purification material with multifunction effects including being suitable for fish bait.
・A minimum, fixed dosing for low to high turbidity
・Fixed dosing means constant dosing management is unnecessary
・Increased throughput by extension of channel
・Day and night operation possible
Turbid construction water・Turbid rainwater・Turbidity in reservoirs and dam riversRed-water turbidity・Industrial wastewater・Adoption in industrial waterworks etc.
