Gravel Contact Purification Material
【Patented Product/Method】
Environmental creation purification to protect and cultivate an abundant
natural ecosystem
CELCA is a chemical reaction gravel contact material of non-conventionally machined oyster shells.
It is a safe purification material that improves environments contaminated by water pollution or eutrophication etc.
Processed Oyster Shell Natural
Water Purification Material
An embankment in overspill pollution processing measures at
an earth and sand disposal site
Promotes settlement of turbidity by
delayed slight alkali flocculation
The principal weak alkali component, calcium carbonate, makes a neutralising reaction with nitrogen and phosphorus etc. and continues to have an aerobic effect.
Controls anaerobic substances with a clarifying effect on inorganic and organic matter.Lasting purification possible through appropriate deployment and replenishment.
Grain refined under running water, this product improves the aquatic habitat through continuous purification and as a breeding medium for plankton, spall and by being feed for other kinds of aquatic life.

Main Applications
・Turbid water from construction in rivers,
lakes, harbours and development sites ・Purification of discharge conduits into rivers ・Upstream purification for dam discharge points ・General adoption in water treatments such as pollution measures in the vicinity of spillways
・Restoration of natural rivers
・Forest protection (acid rain countermeasure) ・For the purification of water quality and the bed material of dams, rivers, lakes, oceans, estuaries, coastal areas and fishponds

Installed in a river downstream of the dam
This product is finely broken down by the current whilst purifying the water. It becomes widely suspended in the water and precipitates onto the riverbed and on the banks, facilitating the reclamation of the original natural river environment.
It is also effectively consumed as fish bait. The constant purification of the water environment is made possible along with the effective reuse of waste shells through replenishment with a new supply.
